As for Conan kung-fu-ing,i can see it judging by the casting here.Maybe our hot bladed young warrior will get an old blind eastern mentor.A CGI David Carradine could pop up to help out.Sorry,i have no faith in this movie.Every time i write a stupid idea i think-Damn!I bet this is exactly what they'll do! Personally if they are going to involve a kid then i would like to see the sack of Venarium which could then set the stage for the rest of the story,playing with Howard's themes of barbarism and civilization.As a side note i live just down the road from the real Venarium or Veralanium as it was better known in Roman times.Some of the old ruins are still there and it is still a thriving beautiful little town.I go busking there on occasion.Anyone out there know what its called today?An interesting clue,its said that Queen Boudicca made her last stand there against the dreaded iron Roman legions. I need a good story, with well choreographed fight scenes that do not move so fast or blurry you cannot see the action (which has occured in the middle of Solomon Kane). That is enough to pull me in.
