I really don’t see how they have Milius on there mind. He has been out of the picture since King Conan Crown of Iron was dropped. Although I do agree that Malmberg/Paradox may have little or no say. Perhaps Nu Image/Millennium Films would respect their judgement.

I think Malmberg/Paradox have little, if any, power over the direction of the film. Once the movie rights were sold, it was out of their hands. Plenty of people get producing credits as an empty courtesy gesture. They are kept in the loop of what is going on, but given no power to affect the outcome. Malmberg may sincerely want REH’s version, but it is clear the production company has Milius on their mind. Nu Image/Millennium Films is famous for doing hack work. They pre-sell to foreign territories and having already made their money, don’t care about the quality of their films. Malmberg is being a team player here, but after you see the film, I bet you’ll be shocked at how much of the original script shows up on screen.

By Crom, I think Waldgeist has his faith back! As for me it’s nice to finally hear something as I was pining for the movie since the 13Th Warrior came out and renewed my interest in the genre and Conan my favorite character since the age of ten.

That’s sounds good.

From the visual style i think Marcus Nispel will make a great Movie. Pathfinder was not so good from the storytelling or character wise. The Texas Chainsaw Massacre was really good for a remake for me better then the orginal. Funny was when i saw Pathfinder first the first thing in my mind was ”hey this guy would better make a conan movie”.

Regards to all Conan Fans the are hot to see the Movie.
