The Vikings were alot like the Nordic races in Conan, Not the Vikings of history! This alone makes the director and production co. great picks for the film. The synopsis starts out right, but alters the REH time line. I have read a few good altered time lines, so this still has merit. I don't know anything about the actor, but if he atlest looks the part, thats better then Arnold. i just hope he has read REH Conan and does not try to be Arnold. If the characters are done right, the locations are good, and the costumes are done right(not to much clothing!), then we have the makings of a great epic. I liked Pathfinder. The Vikings were armored up like Orcs. 2. They killed and burned BEFORE they pillaged and raped. I guess that's in the Orcish tradition, but certainly not the Vikings.
